Control Lever Assembly: Installation

Install control lever assembly to control lever assembly bracket and attach with nuts. See Figure . Tighten control lever nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect shift cables to control lever assembly. With shift cable ends in adjusters, adjust shift cables by pushing shifter neutral lock clip. See SHIFT CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Move shifter slightly to center lock clip. Ensure transaxle is in Neutral. Press and lock shift cable retainers. Pull shifter neutral lock clip to its original position. Connect harness connectors and install trim bezel. See Figure . Install control assembly boot to trim bezel.
