Diagnostic Aids

Use scan tool to command EVAP vent solenoid on, while monitoring EVAP VENT - HIGH VOLT test. When fault exists, scan tool will display TEST FAIL. This test will fail only when device is being commanded on and voltage at PCM is high. The test updates every 100 milliseconds whenever ignition is turned on and device is being commanded on by scan tool or PCM.

EVAP vent solenoid resistance should be 15-35 ohms.
