Diagnostic Aids

An intermittent open or short in harness will cause DTC to set. Check harness connectors and terminals. EVAP vent solenoid resistance should be 15-35 ohms. Check CRUISE 1 fuse in passenger compartment fuse block.

This test will fail only when device is being commanded off and voltage at PCM is high. The test updates every 100 milliseconds whenever ignition is turned on and device is being commanded on by scan tool or PCM.
