Trouble Shooting

Check REAR DEFOG (30-amp) fuse, located in underhood fuse block. Check IGN 3 (10-amp) fuse and HVAC (10-amp in 2000; 15-amp in 2001) fuse, located in instrument panel fuse block. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If no problem is found, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
