Power Mirror Switch

Remove power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using an ohmmeter, check for resistance between appropriate power mirror switch terminals. See Fig 1 . See POWER MIRROR SWITCH RESISTANCE TEST  table. If switch fails any test, replace switch.

Switch Position Terminal/Resistance Terminal/Resistance
Up "D"/0 "B"/Infinity
Down "D"/Infinity "B"/0
Left "B"/Infinity "F"/0
Right "B"/0 "F"/Infinity
(1) Terminal "A" should always read infinite resistance, and terminal "C" should always read zero resistance.
