Passenger Compartment Discriminating Sensor: Installation

  1. Install passenger compartment discriminating sensor with arrow pointing toward front of vehicle. Install sensor mounting bolts. Torque bolts to 80 INCH Lbs. (9 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Reactivate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
