Connector Repair

NOTE:
Terminals in SIR system are made of special metal to provide contact integrity for sensitive, low energy circuits. These terminals are only available in Saturn Wire Repair Assembly Packs (SA 9138Z). DO NOT substitute using any other terminals.
If any connector or terminal in SIR wire harness (except pigtails) is damaged, component should be repaired using appropriate Saturn Wire Repair Assembly Packs and Saturn Repair Kit (SA 9138Z). Saturn repair kit includes an instruction sheet and sealed splices which are used to splice new wires, connectors, and terminals to wiring harness. A splice crimping tool, which is color keyed to match splices must be used to apply these splices.
If individual terminals are damaged on DERM or resistor module connectors, repair component using DERM/Resistor Module Terminal Repair Assembly Pack. If individual terminals are damaged on any other SIR system connection, entire connection should be replaced using appropriate Connector Repair Assembly Pack.
