Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

  1. Install the direct fuel injectors and the fuel rail. Refer to DIRECT FUEL INJECTOR REPLACEMENT .
  2. Install the fuel tank pump module. Refer to FUEL TANK FUEL PUMP MODULE REPLACEMENT (AWD) .
  3. Refer to PLASTIC COLLAR QUICK CONNECT FITTING SERVICE  in order to connect the following quick connect fittings to the fuel rail:
    • The feed hose/pipe
    • The return hose/pipe
