Preliminary Procedures 
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING (GE 47716) or COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING (STATIC FILL LAU) or COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING (STATIC FILL LF1) .
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Refer to CAUTION: RETAINER
Procedure 
  1. Reposition the sensor heat shield.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.

Tighten 
20 Nm (35 lb in)
