Component Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S109 Sport Mode Switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 9 and the ground circuit terminal 5 with the switch in the released position.
- If lower than infinite resistance.
Replace the S109 sport mode contact.
- Test that the resistance is lower than 2 Ω between the signal circuit's connection 9 and ground connection 5 when the sport mode contact is closed.
- If the reading is 2 Ω or higher
Replace the S109 sport mode contact.
- If the reading is less than 2 Ω
- All OK.
