Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Windshield Wiper & Washer Switch Assembly

Slide the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly into the bracket until the clips engage.

Route the wire harness assembly along the steering column jacket assembly.
Connect the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly connector, if necessary.

Install the wire harness strap (2) to the steering column tilt head assembly (1).
Install the wire harness strap (2) to the wire harness assembly.

Pop the wire harness assembly (1) into the wire harness strap (2).
Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
