A/C Clutch Relay (900 Non-Turbo)

  1. Remove relay from relay panel. Relay panel is located under hood, on left side.
  2. Inspect for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87B (Red wire). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  3. Inspect for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87 (Green wire). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  4. Connect 12 volts to relay terminal No. 86 (Blue wire). Connect terminal No. 85 (Black wire) to ground. Relay should click.
  5. Inspect for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87B (Red wire). Replace relay if continuity does not exist.
  6. Inspect for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire) and No. 87 (Green wire). Replace relay if continuity does not exist.
