If it becomes necessary to remove a quick-connect, first pinch both sides of the exposed white locking ring until the leading edge of the tabs can slide under the edge of the quick-connect body. Then push the quick-connect off the heater core nipple. Finally, remove the white nylon locking ring from the nipple and reinsert it in the quick-connect body.
