Fuego Turbo

  1. Release fuel system pressure. Remove fuel supply line at cold start injector and connect fuel pressure gauge. Turn ignition on. Jump terminals 2 and 8 of tachometer relay. Fuel pump pressure should be as specified. If not, check fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel pump circuit.
  2. Turn off ignition. Disconnect vacuum hose from pressure regulator and connect hand vacuum pump. Turn ignition on. Reading should drop about 7 psi (0.5 kg/cm2 ). If not, check pressure regulator.
