Removing And Installing Roll-Over Bar

Unscrew and remove screw -1- on belt strap guide at the left and right -2- .
Swivel belt strap guide -2- forward -arrow- and feed out the belt strap -3- .

Unscrew and remove side screws -1- on both sides of the roll-over bar.

Unscrew and remove front screws -1- on both sides of the roll-over bar.

Unscrew and remove rear screws -1- on both sides of the roll-over bar in the convertible top compartment.

Open the convertible top.
Unclip line bracket -1- and disconnect wire harness for loudspeakers.

Remove roll-over bar in -direction of arrow- .

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tightening torque for screw on belt strap guide: > Tightening torque 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screw on roll-over bar, side: > Tightening torque 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screw on roll-over bar, front: > Tightening torque 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)

Tightening torque for screw on roll-over bar, rear: > Tightening torque 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)
