July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Tire Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle on a suitable support. Remove tire/wheel assembly from vehicle.
  2. Dismount tire from wheel. Valve/wheel electronics unit should be placed at the 12 o'clock position before removing top and bottom tire beads.
    NOTE: The tire bead must not be pressing against the wheel electronics unit during removal.
  3. While using a suitable tool (such as a 1.8-mm steel pin) inserted in bore at valve foot, release and remove wheel electronics from valve with an inner Torx screwdriver T20. See Fig 1.
  4. Unscrew union nut and remove valve.
