Throttle Position Switch: Description and Operation

The throttle valve switch communicates the "idle" and "full load" throttle positions to the DME control unit. The throttle valve switch is mounted on the throttle body and actuated by the throttle valve shaft. A separate contact is closed for each of the throttle valve end positions, i.e. idle and full load.
