Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
    2. Fig 1: Air Cleaner Hose, Clips & Cap Assembly

  2. Release the two retaining clips (3).
    3. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Cover, Air Cleaner Element & Lower Assembly

  3. Lift the air cleaner cover (1) up and away from the lower assembly (3).
  4. Remove the air cleaner element (2).
