Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine evaporative emission (EVAP) line quick connect fitting from the canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Disconnect the engine EVAP line quick connect fitting from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Remove the engine EVAP line (1).
