Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify no other DTCs are set.
  2. Engine running at normal operating temperature, observe the scan tool HO2S 1 voltage parameter. The reading should fluctuate between 3.2-3.4 volts.
  3. Command the Fuel Injector Modification Commanded State to +25 percent with a scan tool. The HO2S 1 voltage parameter should decrease to less than 3.0 volts.
  4. Command the Fuel Injector Modification Commanded State to -11 percent with a scan tool. The HO2S 1 voltage parameter should increase to greater than 3.35 volts.
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
