Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (LHD) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side (Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side).




4. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (1).




5. Remove the blower motor to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (1).




6. Remove the blower motor (1) from the HVAC module assembly (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the blower motor (1) to the HVAC module assembly (2).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the blower motor to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (1) and tighten to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).




3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (1).
4. Install the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side (Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side).
5. Install the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (LHD) (Service and Repair).
