Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Pontiac G8. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    IMPORTANT: The console trim plate (1) is retained by clips.
  1. Grasp the console trim plate (1) at point (A) and pull upwards to disengage the retaining clips from the floor console (2).

  3. Disconnect the window and exterior mirror switch electrical connector (3).
  4. Disconnect the ESP and heated seat switches assembly electrical connector (2).
  5. Remove the console trim plate (1).

    IMPORTANT: Remove the power window/mirror switch (2) by releasing from the retaining clips (3) on the console trim plate (1).
  7. Remove the power window/mirror switch (2) from the console trim plate (1).
