Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Chevrolet Aveo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the harness connector at the left steering wheel control switch.
  2. Connect a DMM between terminals 1 and 2 of the left steering wheel control switch.
    • If any of the resistance measurements for the individual switches are not within the specified resistance values, replace the left steering wheel control switch.

Volume Down 0k Ohms 0k Ohms
Volume Up 3.1k Ohms 3.5k Ohms
Seek 9.4k Ohms 10.4k Ohms
Mode 74k Ohms 81.8k Ohms
Power 122.4k Ohms 135.3k Ohms
