Removal Procedure

    WARNING: Refer to Sensing and Diagnostic Module Voltage after Ignition is Turned Off Warning .
    WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the connector (1) from the front air bag sensor (3).
  3. On hatchback vehicles, remove the headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Notchback) or Headlamp Replacement (Hatchback) .
  4. Remove the front air bag sensor mounting bolt (2).
  5. Remove the front air bag sensor.
