Circuit/System Testing

Ignition ON, with a DMM test for battery voltage of the delivered torque signal circuit between the EBCM and the PCM/ECM and ground.

• If less than the specified range, test the delivered torque signal circuit for an open/high resistance, and short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM.
• If greater than the specified range, test the delivered torque signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM/ECM.
