Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION PRESSURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the secondary air injection (AIR) pressure sensor (2).
2. Remove the 2 fasteners of the AIR pressure sensor (2).
3. Remove the AIR pressure sensor (2) from the shut-off valve (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the AIR pressure sensor (2) to the shut-off valve (3).
2. Secure the AIR pressure sensor with 2 fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the 2 fasteners to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the AIR pressure sensor (2).
