Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the prop rod retaining bolts (1) to the body.
Tighten: Tighten the prop rod bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the retaining clip (2) to the endgate.
Install the bolt retaining the prop rod to the endgate.
Tighten: Tighten the prop rod bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the prop rod (3) to the retaining clip (2) on the endgate.
