Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the midgate handle to the midgate.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the screws retaining the midgate handle to the midgate.

    Tighten:  Tighten the handle screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the screw head covers to the midgate handle.
