Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lubricate the "O" ring seal of the VSS with clean engine oil. Install the VSS into the hole on the differential.
  2. Install the VSS retaining bolt the differential and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor. Install the RH muffler assembly. Lower the vehicle.
