STOPLAMP Switch: Removal

Remove the left side Instrument Panel (IP) insulator. See INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSULATOR PANEL (LEFT SIDE) . Disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the stoplamp switch (1) from the brake pedal bracket by turning the switch counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn, and pulling back. See Figure.
