Removal Procedure

- Remove the cooling fans. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (LX5) or Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (L47) .
- Using the J 37097-A remove the clamp.
- Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the lower transaxle oil cooler line from the radiator.
- Remove the upper radiator seal.
- Remove the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the 2 condenser mounting bolts.
Important: Care should be taken when removing the condenser not to damage the lower attachment points of both the radiator and condenser.
- Lift the condenser upward slightly in order to release the lower feet from the lower mounting features located at the front of the radiator.
- Lift the radiator up and out of the vehicle.
