July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the cooling fans. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (LX5)  or Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric (L47)  .
  2. Using the J 37097-A  remove the clamp.
  3. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.

  5. Disconnect the lower transaxle oil cooler line from the radiator.
  6. Remove the upper radiator seal.

  8. Remove the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT .
  9. Remove the 2 condenser mounting bolts.

    Important:  Care should be taken when removing the condenser not to damage the lower attachment points of both the radiator and condenser.

  10. Lift the condenser upward slightly in order to release the lower feet from the lower mounting features located at the front of the radiator.
  11. Lift the radiator up and out of the vehicle.
