Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
  2. Open the I/P compartment.
  3. Release the loop of the damper cord (1) from the I/P support.

  5. Remove the screws from the I/P compartment hinge.
  6. Press inward on both sides of the I/P compartment housing and rotate down and out of the I/P.
