Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor variation learn procedure will need to be performed whenever CKP sensor is removed or replaced. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.

Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector. See Fig 1. Remove CKP sensor retaining bolt and CKP sensor.
