Class 2 Serial Data Circuit

The class 2 serial data circuit is a Purple wire connected between Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 2 and following modules:

Body control module.
Electronic brake control module.
Instrument panel cluster.
Powertrain control module.
Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module.
Theft deterrent control module.
Radio.
Auxiliary power drop connector.
Head up display.

The class 2 serial data circuit allows these modules to communicate with each other and with scan tool for diagnostic and testing purposes.
