Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

Always begin system diagnosis with diagnostic system check. Diagnostic system check will provide following information:

Identification of control modules which command system.
Ability of control modules to communicate through serial data circuit.
Identification of any stored DTCs and their status.

Using diagnostic system check will aid in identifying correct procedure for diagnosing system and where procedure is located.
