Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ACCY position.
  2. Set the wiper switch to the PULSE position.
  3. Turn the ignition off when the wiper arms are in the inner wipe position and they are not moving.
  4. Disconnect the washer hose from the wiper arm.
  5. Remove the cover from the wiper arm nut.
  6. Remove the wiper arm nut.
  7. Using the J 39822  , remove the wiper arm from the wiper transmission drive shaft.

  8. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Blade Replacement .
