Water Pump Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Aztek and 2002 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the water pump gasket.
  2. Install the water pump.
  3. Install the water pump bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the water pump bolts to 11 N.m (98 INCH lbs).

  4. Install the water pump pulley.
  5. Install the water pump pulley bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs).
