Installation Procedure

  1. Install the window weatherstrip run channel assembly.
    • Start at the lower rear corner of the window opening.
    • Press the weatherstrip run channel onto the door flange.
    • Check to make sure the channel is fully secured into the upper corners of the door frame.
  2. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

  1. Install the window run channel seal.
    • Install the seal to the door header flange, starting from the rear corner.
    • Install the mushroom retainers at the top ends of the metal glass run channels.
    • Install the seal legs to the metal glass run channels.
  2. Install the front door window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  3. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  4. Install the front door sound insulator. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  5. Install the front door applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  6. Install the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
