Cruise Control Does Not Disengage When Brake Is Applied

Disconnect cruise control module harness connector. Connect test light between cruise control module harness connector (harness side) terminal "G" (Light Blue wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, check connector terminal for poor connection. Repair as necessary. If connectors are okay, replace cruise control module. If test light does not illuminate, repair poor connection or open in Light Blue wire between the cruise control module and brake switch.
