Front Height Will Not Go Up Or Down; Forward Or Back Functions Operate Normally

  1. Using test light, backprobe between front height motor connector terminal "F" (Dark Blue wire) and ground. Move power seat front height switch lever to down position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection or open in Dark Blue wire between power seat switch and front height motor. If circuit is okay, replace power seat switch.
  2. Backprobe between front height motor connector terminal "E" (Dark Green wire) to ground. Move power seat front height switch lever to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection or open in Dark Green wire between power seat switch and front height motor. If circuit is okay, replace power seat switch.
  3. Backprobe between front height motor connector terminals "E" (Dark Green wire) and "F" (Dark Blue wire). Move power seat front height switch to down, then up position. If test light glows in both positions, check for poor connections at front height motor. If connections are okay, replace front height motor. If test light does not glow in both positions, replace power seat switch.
