Coolant Temperature Sensor
- Sensor is located on the intake manifold on 1.6L engine and thermostat housing on 2.0L engine. Disconnect coolant temperature sensor connector and measure resistance between sensor terminals.
- Check resistance at more than one temperature to ensure resistance changes with temperature. Replace sensor if it is not within specification. See COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table.
