Minimum Function System (W/Vacuum Adv. Distributor)

Sensor--mounted on the carburetor body and actuated by the accelerator pump lever or a cam on the throttle shaft--sends a varying DC voltage signal to the ECM representing throttle position.
- When the throttle plates are closed sensor output is less than 1.0 Volts.
- As plates are opened sensor voltage rises to a maximum of 5 volts.
