Test 8A - Traveler Button Problem

  1. Using scan tool, read traveler switch status. If scan tool displays CIRCUIT CLOSED for the STEP or US/M buttons, replace traveler module. If scan tool does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED for the STEP or US/M buttons, go to next step.
  2. Press STEP button on traveler module. If scan tool does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, replace traveler module. If scan tool displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to next step.
  3. Press US/M button on traveler module. If scan tool does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, replace traveler module. If scan tool displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, system is operating properly at this time.
