Warm Dr-2 - Charge Temperature Switch Circuit Check

  1. Disconnect both connectors from computer. Connect an ohmmeter between 10-pin connector cavity No. 9 and 12-pin connector cavity No. 10. Ohmmeter reading should be 176-3900 ohms. If resistance is okay, proceed to WARM DR-3  . If resistance is not okay, disconnect charge temperature sensor connector.

  2. Connect an ohmmeter between charge temperature switch terminals. Ohmmeter reading should be 176-3900 ohms. If resistance is okay, repair wiring between computer and sensor for an open/short circuit. If resistance is not within specifications, replace charge temperature switch.
