Steering Gear - Power: Description

Power-assisted rack and pinion steering system consists of a vane pump, flow control valve and an oil reservoir. The belt-driven vane pump supplies fluid through hoses to the flow control valve. The flow control valve regulates fluid pressure to assist rack and pinion steering gear.
