July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (4.2L)   or POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (5.3L)   . 
  2. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to DRIVE BELT TENSIONER REPLACEMENT  in Engine Mechanical - 4.2L.
  3. Remove the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts.
  4. Remove the power steering pump bracket.
