Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Carefully pull the seat back cover down over the seat back pad and align the hook and loop retainers.
  2. Use firm hand pressure to fasten the hook and loop retainers, securing the seat back cover to the seat back pad.
  3. Install the head restraint guide.

  4. Slide the cushion cover downwards and fasten the J-retainer on the bottom of the seat cushion cover.
  5. Install the cover end flap.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  6. Install the seat belt nut (1) to the seat bracket stud.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat .
