Test No. 5, Seat Select Right Side Input/Output Test
- Disconnect console seat switch connector C3. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Using voltmeter, check voltage between console seat switch harness connector C3 terminal "K" (Brown wire) and ground. If reading is about 12 volts, go to next step. If reading is not about 12 volts, check for short to ground in Brown wire between seat control module and console seat switch. Check for poor connections at seat control module. If circuit and connections are okay, replace seat control module.
- Move seat select switch to right position. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between console seat switch harness connector C3 terminal "K" (Brown wire) and ground. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is not 10 ohms or less, check for poor ground connection or open in Black wire between seat control module and ground. Check for poor connections at console seat switch. If circuit and connections are okay, replace console seat switch.
- Disconnect seat control module connector C4. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Disconnect right front tilt motor connector. Check resistance between seat control module connector C4 harness terminal "D" (Dark Blue wire) and right front tilt motor harness terminal "B" (Dark Blue wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, check for poor connections at seat control module. If connections are okay, replace seat control module. If resistance is not 5 ohms or less, repair open in Dark Blue wire between seat control module and right front tilt motor.
