Code 56 - Left Front Motor Circuit Open: Notes
This test identifies a motor that cannot be energized due to an open circuit. Code 56 will disable ABS function and turn ABS warning light on.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks for correct motor resistance.
- Checks for open in motor high circuit.
- Checks for open in motor low circuit.
- Ensures fault was not due to poor terminal contact.
