Code 117, Shift Solenoid "A" Or "B" Open Or Shorted: Notes
Code will set if closed loop fuel control is enabled and solenoid "A" or "B" is different from what is commanded 10 consecutive times.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks electrical operation of "A" solenoid.
- Checks power feed circuit.
- Checks electrical operation of "B" solenoid.
- Checks PCMs ability to ground circuit.
- Checks power feed circuit.
- Checks PCMs ability to ground circuit.
